Kansas City – Strike Against Airline – Workers leave their jobs at the Midcontinent International Airport today in a strike against Trans World Airlines, which has its main overhaul base at the airport. The International Association of Machinists called the strike. The men walked off just as the union announced the airline had made a new proposal in negotiations.
