John Jayne, 16-year-old high school sophomore, faces camera here early 1/29 as he is arraigned on charges of shooting and killing his father, mother, brother and sister. Police said he confessed to the slayings. According to officers, John bore a grudge against his parents for a whipping he got last summer. He also carried a grudge against his brother, Williard, 19, and believed his sister, Elizabeth, 14, sided with his older brother.
