The model is seen half-length, seated 3/4 face to the right, the left arm resting on a table, on which stands the horn of a gramophone. The left side of the coat has been irregularly shaded, and there i.e. additional shading on the waistcoat and on the left sleeve. The outline of the head has been modified.
