Premier Fidel Castro said early 5/20 he will send a group of captured invaders to the United States to start negotiations on his proposed prisoners-for-tractors deal. Castro said also that he would be willing to exchange Manuel Artime (R), civilian leader of last month's invasion, for Francisco Molina (L), convicted killer of a 9-year-old Venezuelan girl in New York. Castro described Artime as an opposition leader who played no military part in the invasion, and said "we are willing to trade him for Molina." Artime and Molina are shown in 1961 file photos.
