Bone, Muirhead, Sir, 1876-1953 · 1928
Near the intersection of Broadway and Madison Avenue, New York, an immense excavation has been made for the foundations of a new building; its walls are shored up, and a tall crane rises from a platform near the bottom of the pit. The cross-work on the left side of the tallest (upright) member of the crane added. Much new detail on the platform; street and house above it further shaded.
