The horse-gin is turned by a horse with white hair; the pulley sheltered by a sort of pent-roof connecting with a stone-edged well, near which three monks stand; one fills a watering-pot that the other holds; the third reads. The whole plate is reworked and extended; Title in upper left corner. Title "Le manège" in upper right corner enclosed by a line.
