Emile proposes to Henriette, vignette frontispiece. 2. Emile before the police commissary. 3. Henriette returns to her mother. 4. Emile pulled from the water by bargemen. With the indication of the pages to which the compositions correspond, and the inscription "Imp. Delâtre, Paris"
