"Le Malheur d'Henriette Gérard" by Durany, with four etchings by Legros. Paris, Poulet-Malassis and de Broise, 1861; in-18. These four compositions are etched on the same plate. 1. Emile proposes to Henriette, vignette frontispiece. 2. Emile before the police commissary. 3. Henriette returns to her mother. 4. Emile pulled from the water by bargemen. The composition are only sketched or little worked on; in vignette 4, a man in an overcoat watches the bargemen pull Emile's corpse from the water.
