Maine Indians in Ceremonial for First Time. Combining for their first inter-tribal ceremony, braves and their Squaws from the Penobscot and Passamaquoddy tribes of Indians in Maine gathered on one of their ancient hunting grounds on bank of the Penobscot River at Bangor, Maine, and went through ceremonies of centuries ago. Above is shown princess Watawaso who did an Indian cradle dance.
