Leonard Drake, 42, who received a new heart at Stanford Univ. Hospital on 8/22, visits recently with his wife, Wanda, in his room at the hospital. Drake, of Eugene, Ore., is Stanford's third heart transplant patient. He has met briefly with Robert O. McKee of Palo Alto, Calif., who also received a new heart here on 8/31. He quipped that Mckee has Challenged him to a foot race on Labor Day of next year.
