Chicago: Leon Clifford Webber, 28, (L) a mental patient with police record for sex offenses was seized today (11/16) after an all-night vigil outside his mother's home. Webber has admitted kidnaping Peggy McCarthy, 7, as she left her home enroute to school (11/15). Peggy told police her kidnaper forced her into his car, took her to Robinson's Woods, ordered her to disrobe but fled without molesting her. Police plan to question Webber in connection with the triple sex slaying of the Schuessler-Peterson boys in 1955 at the same location.
