All clues lead police into blind alleys in their hunt for the man who murdered college secretary Marian Baker, 21, who was found dead last weekend. Police apparently have no leads as to the identity of the person who choked and battered the dark-haired girl to death. At left, is Edgar Rankin, who was engaged to the pretty secretary. At right, are the dead girl's mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Britcher.
