Portland, Ore., oct. 24-- Pat Grimes, 19, says she has fallen in love with Pvt. Alfred Gust--a stranger until he knifed her on downtown street here in August. Gust, who admitted three knifings, yesterday was convicted of assault with a dangerous weapon. Miss Grimes said she will wait for him. She is Portland resident. He is a soldier stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash., and a native of Houston, Texas.
