For years, Bath Ruth played the leading role in the Ruppert Spring Follies, which has his contract signing as the plot, while Gehrig portrayed one of the sword bearers in the war scenes. Lou stepped up when Babe stepped down this year and here he is, signing the old prop document for the benefit of the camera man.
