Leads campaign against pornography

Harold E. Doran, president of a union local, says he started a campaign against pornography after his daughter, Marianne, 8, found a "smut book" under a candy counter in a Pawtucket store. Doran successfully lobbied for an anti-pornography bill that's now a law.
