Jimmy W. Wells, identified as vice president of the Clayton Civic Club, located in Clayton County, Ga., is shown during his appearance before the House Un-American activities Committee 11/4. Investigators charged that the club, a Ku Klux Klan “cover” group, old the International Revenue Service that the club existed solely for the purpose of helping the ick and needy. Wells refused to answer any questions on the matter.
