Tigers Now Indians-- Former Detroit Tigers pitcher Bill Wight, catcher Joe Ginsberg and infielder Owen Friend (left to right), shown at Briggs Stadium today where they packed their belongings to join their new teammates, the Cleveland Indians. Trade involved a four player swap between the two clubs. The Indians also got pitcher Art Houtteman who took off for New Jersey, his wife's home, at first word of the trade. The Cleveland ball club gave up shortstop Ray Boone and pitchers Steve Gromek, Dick Weik and Al Aber.
