Logs on the Move - For the first time in 30 years a drive of 12-foot-high white pine logs was released into the Rapid river, Maine, to float down to the plants of Brown Co., pulp and paper products, at Berlin, N.H. Right-hand picture shows the beginning of the drive. The logs are moving into the dam, which is under the wooden building in the picture.
