Mary McCollum, 22, Nashville, Tenn., leader of Negro and white sit-in demonstrators in Cairo Tuesday and Wednesday. Miss McCollum, who has been treated by a doctor for a thigh wound, said she was slashed with a knife in front of Mack's Barbecue Tuesday night. She is a secretary with the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee with headquarters in Atlanta, Ga.
