Jewish Immigrants Await Embarkation From Italian Beach – After being driven from refugee camps in buses, Jewish immigrants stand on beach near Rome, Italy, on night of Dec. 11, awaiting turns to be taken to two-masted schooner “Al Tafchidunu” in rubber rafts. The immigrants were captured yesterday by British destroyers when their vessel tried to run the blockade near Haifa, Palestine.
