Inspecting the nation's biggest water distilling plant developed by the Corps of the Engineers and now undergoing a 300-hour test at the Boston Army Base are Mr. Emil J. Carroll, of Glencoe, Illinois, the project engineer, and Master Sergeant Joseph P. Kennedy, of Alexandria, Va., who has been working in the water purification branch of the Corps of Engineers for ten years.
