A Dodge Power Wagon with 4 wheel drive and 7500 lb. front winch. The wrecker is the latest Ernest Holmes equipment and also has the towing cradle. This permits the speedy removal of disabled cars from congested streets and highways and provides a safe and dependable means of towing them to the shop without incurring any additional damage.

Results Of A Grim Reaper. Earthquake area, Hokkaido -- The earthquake and tidal wave which swept the Hokkaido area recently left this grim reminder, the sole remaining home left standing at the town of Kiritappu which once contained 800. The huge tidal waves and six foot ice cakes destroyed the rest and laid waste to the countryside, leaving countless victims homeless and destitute. The 315th Air Division (Combat Cargo) airlifted hundreds of pounds of American Red Cross clothes to the stricken victims. The only one of 800 homes at Kiritappy which survived the tidal wave. All of the others were washed away clean by the combined pounding of the wave and the six foot ice cakes.
