Ku Klu ookout Surrenders Deputy Sheriff commission-C.A. (Brownie) Lollar, who old state investigators he was at a cookout at a Ku Klux Klan meeting last night, is shown as he surrendered his special deputy commission at the sheriff’s office today. Sherif Holt McDowell said the deputy commission was a “courtesy” one issued to Lollar in 1947 because was handling a mine payroll.
