This superb structure is a fitting tribute to a great man, Abraham Lincoln. It is of classic Greek architecture, and the colonnade of 36 columns represent the 36 states, which comprised the Union at the time of Lincoln's death. Inside this beautiful temple is the monumental statue of Lincoln by Daniel French.
