Japanese Quake Opens Big Fissures -- Huge earth fissures were opened by Japan's big quake at Kamaishi, small fishing village in Northern Honshu, Japan's main island. The quake was followed by a tidal wave. This picture was transmitted by land line to Tokyo and then radioed to San Francisco.
