A man in a shirt comes from a house in flames, carrying a child at right, two women scarcely dress, kneeling, and lamenting beside a cradle; in the background, in place of a cart, there is a heap consisting of a wheel, a mattress, a clock, etc. The left arm in back of the man who leaves the burning house can no longer be seen.
