Janet's Still Howling--Cross locates Hurricane Janet, about 340 miles south-southwest of Pout au Prince, Haiti, as it heads west through the Caribbean today. Highest winds ere estimated at about 110 miles an hour in the center of the tropical storm, which caused widespread damage and loss of life in the Windward Islands Thursday.
