Lighthouse for Sale-Bird Island Light is one of the New England lighthouses Uncle Sam expects to sell this summer. It is shown above as it appeared a couple of years ago when Uncle Sam sold it for $500. Then he took is back saying the price wasn't enough and the hurricane blew away everything but the lighthouse itself. Capt.
