Lighter Laboratories from New Building Construction. The new suspension type of building of the Stanford University Medical School's new research laboratory building, permits all laboratories facing on the four walls and free of obstructing pillars or beams. Ninety six percent of the running length of the walls is taken up by windows. Here is a photo from inside a laboratory, light streaming in through translucent panes.
