King Visits Fasting Clergymen in Prison - Dr. Martin Luther King (center) and Rev. Ralph D. Abernathy (left) talk to a reporter after they visited 17 fasting white clergymen in Lee County stockade today. The clergymen, mostly from New York and Chicago, were among 75 persons jailed Tuesday for holding a prayer vigil in front of city hall in protest to segregation. The churchmen refused to eat as part of their "moral witness" against racial barriers in this southwest Georgia city.
