"Lie Detector"--For Hauptmann? With Bruno Hauptmann already agreeing, Governor Hoffman gave his support today to a proposed lie detector test but declared it would first have to be approved by Supreme Court Justice Thomas W. Trenchard. Dr. William Moulton Marston one of the originators of the "Lie detector" who is urging that the test be made, demonstrates the sphygmomanometer on Miss Dorothy Richey. He calls it a "blood pressure" test.
