Toledo, Ohio.....Giving no reason for his act, the police of Grosse Point, Mich., said today that John A. Harding, 67, of Toledo, told them that he killed his wife, Mildred (above), and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Maud Thompson, in their Toledo home. Grosse Point police checked with Toledo authorities, and the Toledo men rushed to the Harding home, to find Mrs. Harding dead, and Mrs. Thompson still alive. The women had been bludgeoned with a hammer. Mrs. Thompson died later in a hospital.
