Lewis (center) addresses the 29 district presidents of his union during a meeting in Hotel Roosevelt here today. After the meeting it was announced that a scheduled meeting of the UMW 200-man policy committee, set for this afternoon, had been cancelled. It appeared that only action by the policy committee could alert a new walkout at midnight tonight of the nation's soft coal miners.
