Identifies attacker

New York, Dec. 24--Laura Haines, 20, daughter of novelist William Wister Haines, leaves police station today after identifying Robert Pearson, a 27-year-old negro cab driver of the Bronx, as a man who attacked her Monday night. At left is Miss Haines' uncle, William Chiarardi of Oyster Bay, N.Y. Miss Haines told police she was beaten and robbed in taxi near La Guardia Airport. Pearson was arrested last night.
