Letter that Won a Dog-This is a photo of the letter sent to President Roosevelt by 10-year-old Ann Gilcreast of 9 East street, Stoneham, asking him to drop prices on cocker spaniel dogs as she wanted one but the cost was too high. The letter was turned over to the OPA and eventually came into the hands of Mrs. Laurette Rounsevell, who showed it to a friend. The latter sent a spaniel to the Stoneham girl.
