Ice-Jam Threatens Bridge--A huge, 82 miles long ice-jam in the South Saskatchewan river, is shown as piled up against this 1,215 ft. bridge, Friday. Today the pressure of the ice proved too much for the bridge, built a year-ago at a cost of $1,000,000, and three spans broke from the centre and disappeared into the river.
