Miss Julie Zaugg, 21, Lake Forest, Ill., was sentenced along with two Negro coeds to year in jail and fined $1000 by a Jackson, Miss., city court after they tried to worship at a "white" Methodist church Sunday. National Methodist Church raised $3000 in bonds to free coeds. Police said girls staged demonstration after being told they were not welcome at the church.
