Ice Gorge Slows Mississippi Traffic- The ice breaker Harry S. Truman is cutting a channel through an ice gorge which has allowed river traffic on the Mississippi during the past few days. The ice jam according to the U.S. Coast Guard extends from this city for a distance of 60 miles upstream.
