Hurricane Cleo's fierce winds sweep the beach here 8/23. The killer struck a course 8/25 through the passage between Jamaica and Cuba, threatening the underbelly of Fidel Castro's island with torrential rains and floods. The center of Cleo has winds of 110 mph and according to the Weather Bureau is traveling 15 miles an hour.
