Hurricane Cleo. after devastating the French island of Guadeloupe, killing at least 13, skirted in Puerto Rico and is bearing down 8/23 on the Dominican Republic and Haiti with 210-mile-an-hour winds. A 3PM EDT US Weather Bureau advisory located Cleo 120 miles south of the Republic moving toward it at 17 MPH. It is expected to maintain the same course and speed for the next 12 hours.
