Galeton Hotel... Galeton's finest and largest... is located on the Roosevelt Highway (U. S. Route 6) mid-way between New York City and Cleveland. Thirty-five rooms on three floors are built into the side of a mountain, making every floor a ground-level floor, with the cellar upstairs. Its peculiar location provides all-season comfort. Galeton, near nature's strange Ice Mine, is strategically located at the head of Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon and at the gateway to America's Black Forest, noted for its big game hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation facilities.
