Mrs. James Big Crow, 40-year-old Sioux Indian woman has given birth to her 24th child. The 8-pound baby girl was delivered by Caesarean section. It's the eighth single birth for Mrs. Big Crow who has also had eight sets of twins. Nineteen of the children are living. The family lives in a four-room house without electricity on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation where Big Crow is a farm laborer.
