Miss Helmi Huttunen, of Seattle, Wash., standing by the truck pointing to "On To Washington" sign as the self-styled "Hunger Marchers", numbering 1300, comprising the "Western Division" stopped at Uniontown., Pa., enroute to the capital. This group was later met by a citizen army armed with gas and machine guns and forced to continue hurriedly on their way instead of "occupying" the city for the night as they originally planned to do.
