Hugh Moore (left), Chairman, Association for Voluntary Sterilization, congratulates Dr. P.S. Jhaver, Indian surgeon, at AVS headquarters in New York for his invention of the "Jhaver clip", a new birth control device for easily reversible sterilization. The new device may rival "the loop" and "the pill" in helping to solve the crisis of the world population explosion.
