Huge rolls of paper bound for an unknown port nearly cover what once was a recreation area here 8/18 in the wake of hurricane Camille. The paper, along with other cargo, were thrown from a ship more than a mile away by the force of the winds and water, leveling a large pavilion in the center and smashing several homes flat. It looked like a large-scale bowling alley.
