Huge German Gun Arrives in U.S.--Here for study by army arms experts and eventual public exhibition, this German Krupp-made 28-centimeter K5-E gun that can fire a rocket-assisted projectile more than 50 miles, bears a label, "souvenir from Germany" as it is inspected at the army proving grounds here by T/5 George H. Barrett of New Bedford, Mass., (top) and Sgt. David B. Dreiman of Minneapolis, Minn., (below). Gun was captured by allies in Europe. It is one of three big weapons now at Aberdeen.
