It was about 6:30 this morning when George Dixon, Traveler cameraman, found this geyser spouting from a broken hydrant, almost as high as the houses at the corner of Raven street and Crescent avenue, Dorchester. Cellars were flooded on Crescent avenue and the lower photo recalled New England flood scenes as a horse plodded through the rushing water. Police said hydrant was a victim of a hit-and-run driver.
