Basil tasker, 47, of stoneham, mass., with his three children, hold some of the 50 replies to an advertisement tasker put in newspapers seeking a wife. Tasker says he is so busy tending his children he hasn't time to go a-wooing in person. Replies have been received from grandmothers and a back bay, boston, divorcee who said she had two cars and two country estates. Tasker was divorced a year ago. Children are shirley, 5 (front) and gladys and basil, jr., 7 and 9 years old.
