How Donna Whirls Toward Florida -- Cross in arrow on map shows approximate position of threatening Hurricane Donna tonight. Donna was moving through the Florida Straits between northern Cuba and southern Florida. Hurricane warnings are now in effect from Key Large to Key West. Hurricane watch is in effect between Key West and Fort Myers on Florida’s west coast. A hurricane watch also remains in effect between Key Large and Melbourne on Florida’s east coast.
