Doctors are amazed at how 81-year-old, 75-pound Mrs. Pearl Freelove keeps going. The plucky woman, shown posing here with Bobby Johnson, 6, son of Mrs. Rebecca Johnson, who employs Mrs. Freelove, does all the housekeeping for the Seattle family except the washing, despite: A fractured, dislocated hip unhealed for 19 years; chronic heart trouble; chronic kidney disease; painful kidney stones; cataracts on both eyes, and chronic skin problems that prevent her from taking any pain killer stronger than aspirin. How does she do it? "I don't pay any attention to it," she says. "Why should I?"
